We've seen plenty about AMD Zen 2 recently, but word on the street is that AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3rd Generation processors (CPUs) will feature up to 64-cores and 128-threads.

Now, right out of the gate: this is an unsubstantiated rumor from WccfTech, so you should take it with a giant grain of salt, no matter how exciting it is.

Still, a 64-thread Threadripper processor may see the light of day in Q4 2019, or between October and December of this year.
