Mera Peak (6,476m) is ta mountain in the Mahalanguar section, Barun sub-section of the Himalaya, the highest trekking peak on Everest region is one of the most demanding and challenging but technically an easy climbing peak so one can have an excellent first peak climb without other climbing experience. Mera North, 6,476 m. (21,247 ft); Mera Central, 6,461 m. (21,198 ft); and Mera South, 6,065 m. (19,898 ft), as well as a smaller "trekking summit", visible as a distinct summit from the south but not marked on most maps of the region. For this, we provide necessary training and workout before climbing the peak. The other attraction of this trekking is we can have a magnificent summit view five 8,000m peaks including Mt Everest (8,848m)Mt Kanchenjunga (8,586m), Mt Makalu (8,463m), Mt Cho Oyu (8,201m) and Mt Lhotse (8,516m).

Trekkers can ascend Mera Peak during the spring and autumn seasons as these seasons is the best time to climb the mountain for its astonishing views of the Himalayas.

The trekking starts with an exciting flight to Lukla in Solukhumbu. During the trek, we pass through a terraced landscape of Nepal foothills across small and beautiful villages where most of the hardy Sherpa’s are inhabited. Crossing two high passes we reach Hinku Valley which has large settlement area. Finally, from Hinku to Khare, we reach Mera Peak where we make our base camp. The altitude is low ascending snow slopes that rarely cross over 30 degrees. We can experience unforgettable sunrise view on Kanchenjunga and Everest from the upper slopes of Mera Peak. We will also have outstanding views of watershed areas, magnificent natural landscape, wild and heavily wooded valleys of Hongu and Hinku, densely forested hills and many more.
