A bug in Facebook’s flagship iOS application caused the app’s camera to activate after users tapped on photos while browsing News Feed.

Dimitar Mihov (Mix) of The Next Web and Alfred Ng of CNET shared several tweets from Facebook users (embedded below) regarding the issue.

Facebook vice president of integrity Guy Rosen took to Twitter to address concerns about the issue, tweeting, “We recently discovered that our iOS app incorrectly launched in landscape.

We have no evidence of photos or videos uploaded due to this.”
