Atopic skin - what is

Atopic skin is an ailment that more and more people all over the world are struggling with - paradoxically, this is partly due to the progress of civilization, and thus to all the novelties in the cosmetics and chemical industry. What should we make sure that the disease does not develop in us and how to deal with the emerging symptoms?

Probably each of us knows at least one person who suffers from atopic dermatitis, or is struggling with this very unpleasant ailment, as it is quite a popular disease. Atopic skin is a problem that, even if it is treated from the very beginning and using the most modern generation of medicines, stays with us for life - because it is a genetic disease whose symptoms can be minimized, and it can be put to sleep in a certain sense, but it cannot be completely eliminated from our body, and modern medicine does not deal with this skin disease yet.

That is why atopic skin is still a problem for many people, in spite of the constantly emerging new drugs. What are the factors causing such a reaction? Unfortunately, there are a lot of them - unfortunately, because, firstly, it makes it difficult to prevent contact with them, and secondly, it makes it difficult, and often even impossible, to precisely diagnose what really sensitizes a person.

Atopic skin can therefore be the result of contact with the dog and cat, as well as a reaction to pollen, hygiene, cleaning and other chemicals, and will also respond to the consumption of specific foods such as strawberries, eggs, nuts or celery. Just as the causes vary, so do the symptoms of atopic skin: these include skin irritation as well as redness, irritation, dryness, itching or other unpleasant symptoms.

Early detection of the disease does not allow it to be completely cured, as indicated earlier, but it can significantly reduce its development - especially if all allergens are precisely indicated. Atopic skin requires not only treatment, but also appropriate care, which should be based on intensive moisturizing (only with the use of appropriate, safe and dermatologically tested specifics, otherwise you may not only not help yourself, but even harm yourself). Proven, fully tolerated by atopic skin cosmetics should be bought in pharmacies or asked about them by dermatologists.
