Smart Home Platform Wink Requires a Monthly Subscription Starts from Next Week
Wink, the popular smart home platform, is starting its monthly subscription package for 4.99$. The Wink itself has proclaimed the subsequent news, and they stated that the fee deduction would be started from 13th May 2020, and the customers who will refuse to pay will be no longer remain a part of the company.

The users have to choose the option of Subscription from the Wink app; if they didn’t, then they would not be able to access the app. The Wink has also updated the app as it can now freely operated through voice assistance or API. The trial period will be suspended after 12th May, which means the customers will be unable to avail of the services of Wink for their home management. However, the customers can subscribe to the services whenever they want, no extra charges or fee will be included for a late submission. Thus, customers can reactivate their Subscription whenever they want.
The company has announced all the significant changes through a blog. Along with that, they also said that the business of Wink is going down due to various economic events and long-term policies of the company. However, they have tried their best to set the price of the fee as affordable as they could. In the last stanza of their blog, Wink says that the support of their customers will help them to remain in the business alongside will keep on providing their services with the inclusion of more new features and aspects.
While several leading news reporting companies tried to contact the spokesperson of Wink to ask a few questions, they denied for all of the interviews. In the past several months, Wink is facing a lot of trouble in their business. Thus, the initiative of including fees for their app is not a sudden decision. They were planning for it quite a long time ago and finally, they held it.
Although we also agreed with the statement of Wink as due to the health outbreak, most of the companies in the world are facing financial crises. So, it is necessary to take measures for the future of the company. Thus, Wink took the one, and now the users have to pay 4.99$, which is not a big amount to pay for an excellent home platform service such as Wink. Let us wait and see how much subscriber does Wink obtain after the fee inclusion.
