Update Manually Your Vizio Smart TV

The process to update the new features in most of the Vizio smart TVs are quite the same however some users may find some instructions a bit different in some models. If you want to activate or search for the updates related to the operating system on your Vizio smart TV manually, then go to the remote of the TV and tap on the menu button. After then, search for the Settings option and further choose the option of System available on the provided options. While going to the System option, the users will find the option of Check for Updates appearing at the top that they will need to select and click. Once the users choose the option check for Updates manually then if any update will be available Vizio TV will start downloading it. Once the downloading of the new version of the software will be completed, then the TV will complete the process by restarting it.

In case the users are not getting any option appearing as Check for Updates while going to the Settings. It can be concluded that the specific model is not supporting the updates manually. In such circumstances, the users will need to wait and see if the company is rolling out any new updates automatically to the TVs. However, there is also another option to update your Vizio TV irrespective of whether manual updates are getting support or not.
