How to find a good worker?

Future employees looking for new job offers are usually financially motivated. But not always. Recently, more and more often, job applicants have been suggesting stability of employment and the possibility of professional development.

How to effectively motivate a talented person to work in our company? Work is inextricably linked to finances, which we, as the owner of the company, have to put on the employee. Non-financial incentives should only be used if the newly hired employee knows that he or she will earn well or for those future employees who, if hired, have no financial motivation to take up a new job.

It is important for the employer not to offer non-financial benefits to the employee if he or she is not satisfied with his or her pay. If an employee's salary is too low, nothing can replace the need to increase his or her salary. Only an employee who has a decent wage for his work will appreciate the non-financial motivation e.g. tickets to the theatre or philharmonic for him and the whole family.

The main objective of the employer is to keep the acquired employee in the new workplace for longer. For a long time now, such treatments have taken different forms: prizes, bonuses and raises are the main elements of the fight for a qualified worker, because every worker wants and likes to feel such motivational treatments. If he doesn't feel them, he will quickly change his employer.
Not all companies can afford constant increases or bonuses. However, nowadays, where the labour market complains about the shortage of skilled workers and employers are racing to submit more attractive job offers, candidates can afford to make considerable financial demands.

In the long run, it is much more profitable to get a reliable employee, who requires quite a lot of money, but is able to return with big effects of his work. An employee who works only to plug a hole in a job usually causes more losses than profits. Unless we can motivate such an employee.
