Solar Panels - Your Rooftop Is No Longer Just A Dream

The installation of solar panels on our roofs has been discussed in the media for decades. However, until recently, some homeowners have already installed it - only for those who are excited and care about the environment. The reason is that the initial cost of a solar panel is from 10,000 to 60,000 USD.

The expectation was that the cost of a Solar Panel would gradually fall within the average homeowner's reasonable cost range. Although costs have been gradually reduced, they have not yet become affordable.

However, the whole new business model changed it all. Many companies now install solar panels on the roof of their homes for free, and the homeowner pays a monthly rent. Homeowners use solar energy to reduce their dependence on the utility company. The rent in addition to the lowest utility bill is usually lower than the monthly bill for a solar house. Therefore, the homeowner has no initial costs other than a low monthly electricity bill.

Commercial solar panel

Businesses can benefit from a similar type of solar panel installation scheme. Solar energy companies offer companies energy purchase agreements instead of leases. The solar company installs the panel without any investment from the company. The panels can be installed on the roof or, if there is space, in an array attached to the ground.

The company uses solar stabilizers with a steady rate of solar energy. This reduces the amount of electricity a company has to get from electrical equipment. Commercial customers usually face lower electricity bills, even when paying a solar company for solar energy.

Businesses are protected from lower monthly bills for future fluctuations in electricity and utility prices. The speed of solar electricity is constant and fluctuates. Lower price volatility can be especially helpful when planning for profitable operations.

Reliability of solar energy

As soon as the cost of solar panels becomes a factor, people often express concerns about the reliability of solar energy production. What happens at night or rains? In the past, many believed that people would generate electricity using solar panels, and on sunny days they stored extra batteries for use at night or on cloudy days.

However, the current business model is different. Your home or work is still connected to the utility company's electrical network. At night, on cloudy days or at any time when the production of solar energy is not enough for your needs, you consume energy from the mains. This happens automatically and does not require any effort on your part.

Then the excess solar energy is lost on sunny days? No. You win with an automated system that sells surplus solar energy to the grid. Your utility is responsible for sales by turning on the electricity meter. You can really see it moving!

Provide environmental benefits

With this new business model, home and business owners can save money by installing solar panels while maintaining a reliable power source. In addition, they can do what many of us expect when we hear about producing solar energy on our roofs - helping the environment.

Solar energy, of course, does not cause pollution. Every kilowatt we produce with our solar panels is one kilowatt less energy that companies have to produce than burning fossil fuels. In fact, solar panels with one kilowatt replace more than one kilowatt produced by energy companies, because with Solar System on the roof there is practically no energy loss if the power line is transported over long distances.

Replacing fossil fuels with electricity generation has many environmental benefits. Coal mining, oil and gas are harmful to the environment. Transporting fossil fuels in pipelines (with potential leakage) or in trucks (resulting in air pollution) is also harmful to the environment. And, of course, burning these fuels to generate electricity, even by burning relatively clean natural gas, creates pollutants in the atmosphere.

Energy independence

Dependence on foreign oil has major consequences for our economy when there is a conflict in the Middle East. Oil supply disruptions are causing petrol prices and domestic heat to rise and damage our economy. Our dependence on foreign oil also limits our foreign policy options. Some believe that this forced us into wars that we could not fight for. Dependence on foreign oil has cost Americans in many ways.

We are currently making good progress in becoming independent of foreign oil. Local oil production has increased and energy efficiency measures are working better, including strict mileage gas standards and clean green energy sources online.
