The one thing you don’t want to cheap out on for growing weed, fruit, or vegetables, is a grow light. The reason is these plants need a certain amount of light and the very cheap grow lights won’t produce enough of it.

We stock a great choice of only the best LED grow lights, offering incredible full spectrum light while producing drastically less heat in comparison to HPS lighting. It is highly recommended to purchase a full spectrum LED grow light. Most LED lights have a range of colors being emitted (full light spectrum) – the best lights offer the full range, including UV light.  Compact and lightweight, LED grow lights are now a true alternative to the traditional HPS grow lights.

With no lamps to replace after each grow-cycle, LED grow lights are very low maintenance. Add to that the long lifespan (several years at least) and tailor-made light spectrums especially developed for optimum plant growth, these lights can really revolutionise your growing experience. Final crop quality is increased greatly because of the vastly improved spectrum of light that they produce. We offer only the best models available on the market, all the LED grow lighting that we stock have been extensively tested by ourselves, and each one represents the best that you can get at its price point.

Mars Hydro LED Grow Light

Another new grow light from MARS HYDRO, the SP 3000 uses the cutting-edge SMD LED technology to provide the highest par/lumen output per watt possible. Ultraviolet and infrared light bulbs are incorporated alongside the Epistar SMD chips to create the full spectrum sunlight-like light output.

The no-fan design keeps the SP 250 cool while conserving energy. The quantum light board is covered by glue for water resistance. Adjustable Meanwell driver. No veg or bloom switch, the sunlight spectrum is suitable for growing cannabis from seed until harvest.

Spider Farmer LED Grow light

Harness the power of intense LED light using highly-efficient Samsung LM301B LEDs, some of the best LEDs on the market. The huge Spider Farmer LED grow light powered by a dimmable Meanwell driver. Sunlight spectrum (Blue, White, Red & IR).

The aluminum board fixture stays cool without the need for fans which helps for power savings. Rubber coating reduces the risk of water damage. Suitable for the entire growing process from veg to flower. A high-quality, plug-and-play LED grow light for weed at an affordable price.

ECO Farm ECO Blue 120/240W LM301H Quantum Board

Upgraded ECO Blue series growing lights have a dimming knob. A single light can be adjusted the light intensity at liberty.

Excellent full spectrum- 3000K/3500K diodes providing more reddish light. The 660nm red light is especially useful during bloom, where it speeds up flowering time and boost yields. Turn your seeds into your own supply. And the light looks fairly natural, so it’s good for accurately monitoring plant health.

No Fan Noise Free. High Safety performance MEAN WELL Driver, Fair Waterproofing. Update aluminum board is thick and sturdy, doesn’t put out a tremendous amount of heat, high-quality protective covers for cables; User-Friendly Packaging. Quality components mean the light lasts longer, but they also save you money.

How to compare different models of LED grow light

We only stock the very best LED grow lights, so whichever one you choose, it will be fantastic value for money. There are 3 main ways of comparing them:

  • The amount of light that they produce for the amount of electrical energy that they use. This is measured in µmols / Joule and is sometimes called the efficiency. (A Joule is basically 1 Watt per second).
  • The light spectrum they put out
  • The evenness of the light footprint over the area that they have been designed to cover

Tips for Growing under LED Grow Lights

LEDs produce less heat than the equivalent wattage HPS. This means that plants transpire less. As a result, they lose less water through their leaves and there is less water loss from the grow medium. You will probably find that you will have to water less frequently. Also, many growers recommend that you reduce nutrient strength by anything up to 30%.

Play it by eye. being cautious to begin with. When you switch over to growing under LED grow lights, start off by reducing the nutrient strength by about 25% and increase it if you see any signs of deficiencies. On the other hand, if you see signs of nutrient burn, reduce the nutrient strength by a little bit more.

Read your plants and react accordingly and you should be fine!
