How to Take Care of Your Skin

All of us have different skin types; you may suspect that you have oily, sensitive or dry skin, but do you all really know your skin type is?   1. Moisturizer

For dry skin, use more of cream-based moisturizers from Korean skin care products. Many popular brands will label their skin products as cream or gel on their packaging.

  1. Serums

A good serum containing vitamin C or peptides or growth factors are best suited in the morning, under sunscreen. During the night, prescription retinoid or retinol work best.

  1. Sunscreen

You should apply sunscreen with 30 SPF, about 15 minutes before going out, as it takes some time to activate. If you have darker skin tone, you need to apply more sun protection as hyperpigmentation is much harder to correct. Try using Korean skin care products, as they offer broad-spectrum UVB/UVA protection.

Always use products which best fit your skin type as well as sensitivity. Remember to read the labels properly. Few skin care products, like prescription retinoid or retinols should be applied at night.
