Step 1. Navigate to Windows search and type “power & sleep settings.”

Step 2. Click on the result, then you should see a screen with “Sleep” and “Screen” settings.

Step 3. Now click on the two drop-down menus under the “Screen” and set them to go off after two minutes.

Step 4. Similarly, set the two options under the Sleep section to go off after two minutes.

Use Your Windows Power Management Settings

Step 1. Navigate to the Start menu of your computer and search for the Control Panel. Once you have opened the Control Panel, search for the terms “Change what the power buttons do.”

Step 3. Once you have made the required changes, save your settings.

Turn Windows PC Screen Off Using Keyboard Shortcut

Windows comes with the advantage of various built-in shortcuts that are highly useful. Given that you learn about them and make use of them. That said, Windows has a keyboard shortcut that you can use for turning off your PC screen swiftly. Here is how:

Step 1. You need to be on your desktop screen/home screen for the shortcut key to work. So, navigate to your home screen.

Using a BAT Script

A BAT script can be run from the command prompt tool to turn the Windows PC screen off. Here is how:

Step 1. First, you will have to download the BAT file and save it on your desktop.

Step 2. Open the file by right-clicking on it and select “Run as Administrator.”

Your Windows screen will shut off immediately.

Use DisplayOff Tool

Just like a BAT file, you can use the DisplayOff tool to switch off your Windows PC screen. This is how to use the DisplayOff tool:

Step 1. First, download and launch the tool on your PC.

Step 2. Open the file and select “Run as administrator.”

Your Windows computer screen will turn off immediately.

The Blacktop Tool

Again, just like the BAT file, you can download the Blacktop tool on Windows and use it to turn off your PC screen immediately. The procedure to use this is exactly the same as with the BAT file. Except that there is one additional keyboard shortcut that can be used. You can press Ctrl + Alt + B simultaneously on your keyboard.
