“Winner Winner, Chicken Dinner” is back on the menu!

Two days before Diwali 2020, PUBG announced that it intends to make a comeback in the Indian gaming scene.

The announcement comes less than a month after PUBG went off the grid from online play stores in India.

In the interim, the company has dissociated from Tencent, it’s Chinese partner and made arrangements to transfer all its customer storage data to Azure, Microsoft’s cloud computing service.

This was done, perhaps, to assure Indian regulators of any dangers against data security and Chinese links which were the primary reasons behind the earlier ban imposed on the app.
