Eating the right food and nutrients can give us energy to stay active throughout the day, improve immune system also it helped to our lung health supports to reduce asthma symptoms. The people who eat enough antioxidants rich food like vitamin C, vitamin E,vitamin A, magnesium ,selenium and omega 3, unsaturated fats have lower paces of asthma. Other side Sulfites like contents are trigger asthma symptoms.Sulfites are found in some processed food, wine ,canned vegetable ,some fruit juices, some pickled food, shrimp, bottled lemon or lime juices and alcohol.Different types of nutrients require different amount of oxygen and produce different amount of carbon dioxide. Carbohydrates used more oxygen and produce more carbon dioxide whereas good fats produces less carbon dioxide for the amount of oxygen consumed. So some people with asthma feel that eating a diet with less carbohydrates and more healthy fats help them breathe easier. Vitamin E rich food like almonds, coconut oil pumpkin seeds contains a chemical compound tocopherol,which may decrease the risk of some asthma symptoms like coughing or wheezing. Vitamin D plays an important roll in boosting immunity system responses and helps to reduce airway inflammation. Fresh fruit and vegetables are full of antioxidants which may improve your lung health and help avoid asthma attacks. Also it gives high fiber which is associated with a positive change in good bacteria that protects against airway allergic responses. Eating too much saturated fat may increase your risk of asthma Always take limited amount of fried food,junk food, saturated fats. Being overweight puts extra burden on lungs and can make asthma harder to manage.
