Jagdish Temple

The Jagdish temple is the spiritual center of the city of Udaipur. It is surrounded by many smaller shrines. The locals call it the Jagdish Mandir. Its construction began during the rule of Maharana Jagat Singh in 1651 AD. There were 28 years, 9 months and 13 days left for completion of the construction when Aurangzeb's messenger reached Udaipur to destroy the temple. Sajjangarh Palace

The palace is located to the north of Udaipur city. The present architecture is a typical Rajasthani architecture. Ekling ji Temple

Ekling ji  is the oldest surviving Hindu temple in Rajasthan and one of the oldest surviving stone temples of India. It is a major pilgrimage destination. The history of the temple is closely connected to that of the Sisodia clan, rulers of Mewar. Ekling Ji Temple is located inear Udaipur. The temple which is dedicated to Lord Vishnu is a rare piece of art and architecture carved in white marble, it is a Must Visit Place.
