What Not to Do When Optimizing Your Landing Page

One of the easiest ways to generate traffic to your website is through a Click Here Pay Per Click program. You must have a website in order to start a Click Here Pay Per Click program. If you already have a website then great! But for those of you who have yet to establish a presence on the Internet, I will help you get started. In fact, if you don't own a website, I encourage you to start one.

First, decide what kind of Click Here To...PI program you want to offer. Maybe you offer a free report or Ezine and want the visitor recording to be part of that package. Maybe you want the visitor recording to be separate from the articles you publish on your web page. Whatever it is, make sure that it fits with your website. If you are offering a Click Here To...PPC product and the visitor recording are part of that package, the two products will work together better.

Next, you will need to optimize your landing page. This is what a visitor sees when they get to your site. The best way to optimize your landing page is to use whitespace around all of the important information. If you have enough white space, it will allow the visitor to better scan your site for relevant information. If your site has a lot of blank space, the visitor may not be able to focus on your site's key points.

The next thing you need to optimize your landing page is to use a Click Here To...PPC ad with an intense urgency to click. I recommend using a negative ad (a.k.a. CTA Button) that offers the highest perceived urgency. The higher the perceived urgency, the higher the click rate. This works because when the visitor sees a negative CTA, it creates a sense of urgency for them to act quickly.

The third thing you should do to optimize your landing page is to use a proper font color for your text. Most people are familiar with orange, black, or red text color schemes. In order to make your text more readable for your visitors, you should replace those colors with fonts that have the same size as your font color scheme.

Another thing to remember when optimizing your web page is that the more visible your buttons, the better. Do not put your buttons in a corner of your web page. Instead, place them toward the top of the page. If you put them on the bottom, you will lose some of your visitors' presence. And if you do put them at the top, then it may be hard for your visitors to find your buttons.

The fourth thing you can do to improve the click rate of your site is to make sure that all of your web pages are properly aligned. You should not place the navigation bar on the very bottom or the very top of your page. Ideally, you want the navigation bar to be visible all of the way up until your text link.

Finally, you should include a few phrases like click here, go here, follow here, or go there within your hyperlink text links. Most search engines will index your web pages based on the phrase they contain. A few other things you can do to increase your click through rate include putting the address the user is supposed to click on at the start of your hyperlink. Giving your viewers a reason to visit your site also helps.
