Does Allah Forgive Missed Prayers?

From the 5 fundamental pillars of Islam, Salah is the most important pillar. In the life of a Muslim, a salah is the crucial part and Allah SWT ordered every Muslim to perform his slat five times a day regularly. Allah will forgive the one who performs his obligatory prayers well. There are five obligatory prayers Fajar, Zuhr, Asr, Maghrib, and Isha. Each salah has its own specified time and every Muslim must perform them at the right time. While being busy in daily lives, people often miss their Salat from its preferred time. And all Muslims will be asked about the obligatory prayers first on the day of judgement.

Set Timetable of Salah in the mosques

Several mosques in London are agreed to the same timetable for prayers. Madina mosque Oldham Timetable is available on their site and they are providing congregational facilities and daily prayer facilities. Their timetable includes the timing of prayers of 30 days. However, each mosque in London is free to determine its timetable. However, the one who offers all of them at the right time, Allah SWT guarantees that He will forgive him.

Does Allah forgive missed prayers?

According to the Ayat of Sura Nisa, “Indeed, the prayer is on the believers prescribed at fixed times”. Allah SWT has ordered his people to perform salat timely and properly. And the one who leaves his prayer deliberately has disbelieved. Missing salat without any excuse is the major sin according to Quran and Hadith and whoever does this has rejected faith. The prophet (PBUH) one day mentioned the prayer and said “Whoever guards and observes his prayer, his prayers will be a light and a saviour for him on the day of judgement. And who does not guard them, they will not be a light for him. On the day of judgement, that person will be with Qarun and Fir’aun Haman, and Ubay ibn Khalaf.”

What is the Punishment for missing Salat?

Those who miss their prayers intentionally and without any excuse will be punished seriously. And the punishment for missing a single salah is Hell for a long period. In Quran, missing prayer intentionally is strictly prohibited. Fajar prayer is the most challenging prayer for the majority of Muslims and several Hadiths speak to the great rewards that will be given to those who wake up for Fajar.

The first thing, every Muslim will be called out for on the day of judgement will be the prayers. Allah SWT will ask his Angels (although he knows better): Look into the Salah of my servant to see if he observed it perfectly or negligently. If he observed it properly and humbly, it will be added to his credit. Nd if not, Angels will be asked to look for any supererogatory prayers. If he has any, Allah would say: Make up the deficiency in my Servant’s obligatory with supererogatory prayer. However, sincere Taubah is the deed that can wipe out all evil deeds.
