Apple has warned that this setting will remain default with unlimited data plans for some users according to the network. It has to be enabled manually for other users. Users will have to open the Settings app to enable this cellular data to iPad OS updates. Then select cellular data and afterward select the cellular data option. Now select Data Mode and then allow more data options on 5G. By doing this, you can enjoy this new update and its benefits. Unlimited plan users are going to enjoy this update completely, while limited plan users have to do the settings as per the plans.
To set options when Cellular Data is turned on, go to Settings > Cellular > Cellular Data Options, then do the following: Reduce cellular usage: Turn on Low Data Mode, or you can tap Data Mode, then choose Low Data Mode based on your iPad model.
You will also find the option for standard and low data mode in the same section in which you can set up the use of data according to your cellular and Wi-Fi.
