Now connect your system to the WiFi network (typically a laptop/computer) that has a name, (SSID), associated with 'DXXX5GHz. It is normally the 5GHz network of your extender's D-link antenna. It also offers networks of the same name at 2.4Ghz.

There is no need to ask for a password, security key, or any other security information as this is the first attempt at connecting to the network.

Open web browser.

Now you're at the login page of D-Link extender.

After you've entered your login information (username/password), click "Login".

Now, you are at the configuration page. Here click on the "Setup" tab.

Select "Extend an established wireless network" from the menu.

You can now choose the wireless connection from all available networks that matches the Wi-Fi router. Once it is done, enter your password and click the Next button.

It's easy to modify Wi-Fi addresses. You can create any name that is easy to remember.

Now, create a password that will be used to log in to your network extender. You can select a new password. It's not necessary to set the same password as for the main Wi Fi router.

Click on the Next Button.

You are here asking for the password of the Administrator. Your permission is required to modify the configurations of the extender.
