Those who register under the Rajasthan Government Health Scheme (RGHS) will get the benefit of up to Rs 5, not 10 lakh, while the benefit of up to Rs 5 lakh has been given in the Chiranjeevi scheme.
Those families who are registered in Chiranjeevi Yojana will not be able to be registered in RGHS.RGHS has been implemented on the lines of the Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS) to cover all officers, employees and government service pensioners including MLAs, ex-MLA, All India Service and Judicial Service officers under one health scheme.
There was a misconception about RGHS that it is a variant of Chiranjeevi Yojana, due to which registration in RGHS is also slow.Families who have registered under Chiranjeevi Yojana are not getting registered in RGHS due to using the same Janadhar card.
