Dlink Dap-1520 Extender Setup

You may log into the web-based configuration utility on the D-Link DAP-1520 to perform the following tasks:

* Begin the Setup Wizard

* Upgrade firmware

* Modify wireless and network settings

1. Plug the DAP-1520 into an available outlet near your router. After setting it up, you are able to transfer it to a different location.

2. 2.Open the wireless utility application on the wireless device. Choose the option to connect.Wi-Fi Network NameInput the following details (from the Wi Fi Configuration Card).Password.

 

3. 3.Open an internet browser that you can use, like Internet Explorer, Firefox Safari, Safari, Chrome, or Chrome. http://dlinkap.local./.You can also input the IP address* of the DAP-1520. Windows XP users can enterhttp://dlinkap.com.

 

4. Once you've connected to the internet, the login screen will appear. Enter your password. Log In. The default password is "none".

 

Note:If you're logging in for the first time on the DAP-1520, it will take you to the Setup Wizard.

 

* The default IP address of the DAP-1520 is 192.168.0.50. The DAP-1520 will receive an IP address in accordance with the DHCP settings of your router or network when it is connected to your router. To determine the IP address assigned to the DAP-1520, sign into your the router. On the label of the DAP-1520, you'll find the MAC address.

 

5. The status of your account will be shown on the homepage. A green checkmark signifies that you have successfully connected to your wireless router (AP) or Access Point (AP).
