When Google officially revealed the upcoming arrival of Google Play Store on Chrome last Google I/O, it specifically named three Chromebooks that will receive that feature first, namely, the ASUS Chromebook Flip, the Acer Chromebook R11, and, of course, Google's own Chromebook Pixel 2015 .

To appease almost every Chromebook owner, Google has revealed a timetable for the rollout of Google Play Store on devices.

But even better, Google is more or less promising that by 2017 almost all current Chromebooks in the market will enjoy Android apps.

Google does mention a caveat that not all Chromebooks will get Android app support.
