Cab hailing service Uber is set to relaunch its auto services in India after pulling out last year in March.
Uber is trying to keep up with rival Ola, which allows users to book Ola autos.
Previously, Uber autos were available in New Delhi, Coimbatore, Indore and Bhubaneshwar, compared to Ola autos which runs across 73 cities.
Uber autos will include features available for Uber cab rides, and riders will be able to pay via cash, Paytm and debit/credit cards.
An Uber spokesperson told PTI: "Auto rickshaws are ubiquitous to mobility options in many Indian cities.
To expand transportation choices for our riders, we are excited to launch auto in Bengaluru and Pune."
