CAT or common admission test is a national level entrance examination offering applications for postgraduate programs. The registration has started from 8th August 2018 and will continue 19 September 2018. The examination will be conducted on 25th November 2018. Around 2 lakh candidates appear for the examination but IIM offers limited seats. The candidates who have successfully registered, filled the application form and paid the application fee can download the CAT 2018 Admit card from October 24, 2018. Steps to fill the CAT 2018 Application form
There is no rocket science involved in filling the CAT 2018 exam pattern. The candidates can fill the application form by following the steps mentioned below.
- The candidate had to visit the official website of conducting body.
- You have to enter the basic details like contact number, mail ID and mobile number.
- After the successful registration, the candidates can fill the application form the candidates have to enter all the personal details, academic qualification, work experience details
- The work experience certificate must be of the latest company.
- The candidates have to upload the passport size photograph and signature both in scanned copies {the passport size photograph should not be more than six months old and must have a white background.
- After filling the application form, candidates have to CAT 2018 latest updates i.e. RS 1800 and candidates belonging to the reserved category have to pay RS 900.
The candidates can pay the application fee through debit/credit cards or through DD (Demand Draft)
The candidates are advised to check the CAT 2018 Eligibility criteria before filling the application fee or else their application might get rejected at any stage of the admission procedure.
CAT 2018 Admit card
The candidates can download the admit card from 24 October 2018. The CAT 2018 mock test will contain all the important information like examination venue, the timing of the examination. CAT 2018 Admit card is the most important document as no candidate will be allowed to enter the examination without a valid copy of admit card. Along with the Admit card the candidates have to bring one ID
proof.
CAT 2018 Result
IIM will declare the CAT 2018 Result in the second week of January 2018. The candidates can download the CAT 2018 Result cum scorecard by entering the login credentials acquired at the time of registration.
The result will also contain the sectional scores as well. Around 2 lakh candidates apply for the examination but IIM offers limited seats i.e. around 400. Apart
from 20 IIMs there are top 100 business schools which consider the CAT’s score in their admission procedure.
