To do so we pit ourselves everyday against one big challenge – anyone can shoot practically anything, almost anywhere on earth, using just about any media device and process it, upload it and share it with the rest of the world- all in a few minutes
With this burgeoning global brigade of photographers in mind, the photography course at SACAC is designed to not only introduce students to the technical aspects of the photographic medium but to also understand and relate to the aesthetics of the medium.
Digital photography has substantially reduced the costs analog photography entailed, enabling carefree experimentation.
However, it takes more than a high megapixel camera to consistently create photographic work that rise above all the visual clutter that surrounds us.
