New router comes with new settings, new network name (SSID) and many other new things.
But, the Netgear wireless range extender is still be using the all settings set by the old router.
So, when we try to use the network extended by the Netgear wireless range extender, it does not work.# Setting it up again using the WPSIf we have bought a new router, we have to set it up the Netgear wireless range extender once again so, it could expand the wifi signals all over our home.
The easiest way to setup the Netgear wireless range extender with new router would be by using the WPS (wireless protected setup).
We just have to press the WPS button on the new router and within two minutes of pressing the WPS on the router, we have to press the WPS button on the Netgear wireless range extender as well.
Once, they both are connected, we just have to open a web browser on a laptop or desktop and we have to put the IP address of Netgear wireless range extender on the address bar of the browser and search it.
