Poliisin esitutkinta Finaviassa johdannaissopimuksia tehneiden henkilöiden osalta päättyi 27.5.2016.Esitutkinnan perusteella on syytä epäillä, että Finavian entinen rahoituspäällikkö ja varatoimitusjohtaja ovat syyllistyneet rikokseen ryhtyessään johdannaissopimuksiin.Asia siirtyy syyteharkintaan.Entisten hallituksen jäsenten osalta asia ei johda syyteharkintaan.Johdannaisasian selvittäminen on ollut hyvin poikkeuksellinen asia valtionyhtiössä.Asianajaja, laamanni Pekka Merilammen tekemän yhtiöoikeudellisen selvityksen mukaan osakkeenomistajalla on oikeus antaa ohjeita yhtiön hallitukselle eikä se merkitse epäsopivaa puuttumista yhtiön operatiivisiin asioihin.

Acting on orders from Iran s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the country s Supreme Council of Cyberspace has issued strict, new rules instructing foreign messaging companies to transfer all data linked to Iranian citizens into the country. The new guidelines dictate that messaging services have a year to move their data servers within Iran or risk facing censorship, according to the state news agency IRNA.In the absence of the aforementioned platforms, Telegram has managed to successfully accumulate 20 million users in Iran, which has a total population of about 80 million. We can not and will not help them with that, said Durov.Several arrests were made earlier this month in what Tehran s Cybercrime Court described as a sting operation on obscene content.Iranian officials, on the other hand, freely use banned social networks.

According to a report from Tech Insider, the company has sold off all of its wearable inventory. It s not been confirmed and we ve reached out to Jawbone for comment , but Jawbone has apparently sold off all of its existing Up wearable inventory to a third-party reseller, and is shopping its speaker business around as well.It s not known if the move was also a precursor for new wearables, or if Jawbone is simply exiting the tough wearable hardware business it never quite cracked. The newest Up wearables slipped off easily, and the precursor to it was a weird wrap-around band that put many off.A recent report suggests Jawbone is actively seeking a buyer for that branch of its business. The rub there is that Fortune indicates the speaker sell-off was made so Jawbone can focus on its health and wearables business — which Tech Insider indicates may also be in jeopardy.

If you rent your home temporarily with Airbnb or other home-sharing services, not every type of loss may be covered on your existing homeowner insurance policy.Allstate will soon offer an add-on to your policy that covers home-sharing gaps, according to the Chicago Tribune. The Airbnb policy, for example, adds liability coverage in case a guest gets hurt in your home and decides to sue, but if a guest breaks or steals something, Airbnb s policy doesn t help.If you re considering HomeAdvantage it s worth a few minutes to check with your agent to see if the new program s specific benefits are already included in your current policy. If a temporary renter accidentally set a fire in the kitchen trying to cook dinner, you d still be covered without this endorsement, said Allstate spokesman Justin Herndon. While some home-sharing companies like Airbnb or HomeAway may have coverage options for their hosts, Allstate added in its related statement, Allstate s HostAdvantage targets specific needs of customers who participate in home-sharing and provides a trusted brand that enhances a customer s current homeowner policy.

Yhdysvalloissa jopa suuri internet-operaattori Comcast on ollut sotajalalla runsasta Netflix-katselua vastaan ja maksumieheksi on vaadittu milloin asiakkaita kuin Netflixiäkin.– Nyt kuluttajat käyttävät enemmän rahaa maksulliseen sisältöön kuin ennen.Myös urheilun sisältöoikeudet pilkkoutuvat maa- ja jakelukanavakohtaisesti.Sisältöjen paketointi onkin jatkuva neuvotteluiden aihe mediayhtiöiden kanssa.Suurten kansainvälisten palveluiden sisältöihin operaattori tuskin kuitenkaan pääsee käsiksi.Niinpä yhteissopimukset perinteisten televisioyhtiöiden kanssa olisivat mielekäs tapa hankkia sisältöä, urheilusarja olisi mahdollista hankkia puoliksi.

Noted Apple watcher John Gruber shared on his podcast The Talk Show that his sources which we believe are quite good indicated the next next iPhone would have an all-glass case, edge-to-edge display. And frankly, although we don t doubt that Apple has been working on the 2017 iPhone for quite some time the lead-in time for devices like the iPhone and iPad are often years, not months , it s odd for such concrete details to leak so early. At its annual shareholder meeting, the chairman of longtime iPhone supplier Catcher Technology Allen Horng said, indicated that the 2017 iPhone would indeed have an all-glass display.Catcher has been the chassis maker for iPhone devices for a number of years and the move to a non-aluminum chassis could mean Catcher would lose business.Stay skepticalWe should note that comments from a supplier CEO – even though interesting – don t confirm anything about Apple s future iPhone plans. It will come in rose gold.

And search no further, friends, as we now have a real proof of concept for a truly life-saving device. The XSTAT hemostatic device, which seemed to be the stuff of science fiction when it was first introduced last year, has now successfully been used on a soldier to staunch severe bleeding in an almost immediate capacity. The brainchild of RevMedx, Inc., we first told you about the XSTAT hemostatic device last Christmas — it s designed to stop severe bleeding in a matter of seconds and prevent life-threatening blood loss in areas of the body that can t easily be treated with a tourniquet — such as the chest or armpit. As per reports from the U.S. military, a soldier who suffered a gunshot wound to his thigh spent hours with a medical team in efforts to control residual bleeding from the bone and accessory vessels, all to no avail.Indeed, the military reports, Throughout the course of the roughly 7-hour surgery, multiple attempts at using bone wax and cautery on the bleeding sites were unsuccessful and the patient received multiple units of blood and plasma. The first-in-human experience with XSTAT is the culmination of tremendous effort on the part of both RevMedx and our military collaborators, said Andrew Barofsky, president and CEO of RevMedx.

It's sure to be very expensiveSamsung Galaxy Note 6 release dateAccording to @evleaks the Samsung Galaxy Note 6 will be released during the week of August 15, so with no other release date rumors to go on that's looking the most likely.Given that all the rumors so far are pointing to the same size and resolution it's likely that's what we'll get.Certainly it's going to be at least QHD, given that the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is, and 5.8 inches would only be marginally bigger than that phone's 5.7-inch screen. While most camera rumors are pointing to a 12MP lens PhotoRumors claims Samsung is working on a new sensor that will be between 18MP and 24MP and have a wide f/1.4 aperture, which should allow it to take in a lot of light. The Gear VR is a nice bit of kit, but it's held back by a lack of visual fidelity. The Note 6 will be a newer handset, so we want newer, better things, like full waterproofing, rather than just water resistance.

Just because that fancy washing box in your kitchen is called a dishwasher doesn t mean that s the only thing it can wash. You can also clean things like gardening tools and plastic toys with it.As consumer advice site Clark Howard points out, a lot of plastic or metal objects that can fit in your dishwasher can be safely washed inside.Things like stove knobs, waste baskets, cosmetics brushes, and heat register covers could all go for a thorough cleaning and a dishwasher is a worthy candidate for the job.You can usually take off the top rack in most dishwashers to give you more space for larger items.Just make sure you don t wash anything made of wood, cast iron, brass, or anything else that s sensitive to intense heat or water.Check out the full list from Clark Howard s site below for more ideas on things you can wash in your dishwasher.

Gamaya says these alerts and predictions will help farmers lower costs for water and fertilizer while improving their yields.Agricultural surveying has become one of the most widespread use cases for drones in the US, where companies like PrecisionHawk and Airware are also combining drone imaging and analytics for the agricultural sector. The Swiss post office has even experimented with delivering mail by drones. With a more open legal framework for commercial drones, Switzerland's drone startups have an advantage that could help them grow more quickly than US drone startups.Drones turned the corner in 2015 to become a popular consumer device, while a framework for regulation that legitimizes drones in the US began to take shape. The accelerating pace of drone adoption is also pushing governments to create new regulations that balance safety and innovation.Safer technology and better regulation will open up new applications for drones in the commercial sector, including drone delivery programs like Amazon s Prime Air and Google s Project Wing initiatives.Jonathan Camhi, research analyst for BI Intelligence, Business Insider's premium research service, has compiled a detailed drones report that forecasts sales revenues for consumer, enterprise, and military drones. It also projects the growth of drone shipments for consumers and enterprises. The report details several of world s major drone suppliers and examines trends in drone adoption among several leading industries. Finally, it examines the regulatory landscape in several markets and explains how technologies like obstacle avoidance and drone-to-drone communications will impact drone adoption. Here are some of the key takeaways from the report:We project revenues from drones sales to top $12 billion in 2021, up from just over $8 billion last year.Shipments of consumer drones will more than quadruple over the next five years, fueled by increasing price competition and new technologies that make flying drones easier for beginners.Growth in the enterprise sector will outpace the consumer sector in both shipments and revenues as regulations open up new use cases in the US and EU, the two biggest potential markets for enterprise drones.Technologies like geo-fencing and collision avoidance will make flying drones safer and make regulators feel more comfortable with larger numbers of drones taking to the skies.Right now FAA regulations have limited commercial drones to a select few industries and applications like aerial surveying in the agriculture, mining, and oil and gas sectors. The military sector will continue to lead all other sectors in drone spending during our forecast period thanks to the high cost of military drones and the growing number of countries seeking to acquire them.In full, the report:Compares drone adoption across the consumer, enterprise, and government sectors.Breaks down drone regulations across several key markets and explains how they ve impacted adoption.Discusses popular use cases for drones in the enterprise sector, as well as nascent use case that are on the rise.Analyzes how different drone manufacturers are trying to differentiate their offerings with better hardware and software components.Explains how drone manufacturers are quickly enabling autonomous flight in their products that will be a major boon for drone adoption. To get your copy of this invaluable guide, choose one of these options:Subscribe to an ALL-ACCESS Membership with BI Intelligence and gain immediate access to this report AND over 100 other expertly researched deep-dive reports, subscriptions to all of our daily newsletters, and much more.

It makes sense: Apple's mantra is owning the entire user experience, which is why Apple makes both the hardware and software for its phones, tablets, computers, and more.If Apple truly is working on an electric car, the company probably doesn't want to rely solely on existing charging options, instead opting to try and advance the tech and infrastructure to improve the experience.Reuters suggests that that limited number of charging stations and lengthy waits often required "could be an opportunity for Apple" to innovate in the space.Apple has reportedly been hiring engineers from BMW and Google with a focus on charging methods, which previous rumours suggested was more about adding wireless charging to a future iPhone.Apple is reportedly in talks with several charging tech companies to better understand how their methods work, but Reuters says the companies are "treading carefully," and are concerned about sharing too much data with what could be a potential future rival.Earlier this month, Apple invested US$1 Billion in Didi Chuxing, a Chinese ride-hailing app, which could pay off down the line should Apple need to start mass-testing cars or build services around them.

Alphabet s Google announced it has opened up its Internet of Things IoT protocol for its Nest systems, as competition with Amazon for smart home market share heats up.As reported by the Motley Fool, Google launched its first open-source foray for Nest s Thread protocol, which paves the way for better connectivity between IoT devices from different manufacturers and between devices and the cloud. As a company with a long-standing history of actively supporting and contributing to open technologies, OpenThread allows us to work with other like-minded corporations and individuals to deliver a best-in-class implementation of Thread that can be widely used for the advancement of a connected and secure home, the company said in a statement.Potential Nest revenue loss not a big dealNest is a relatively tiny subsidiary of Google, and therefore Motley Fool suggests that making its Thread protocol open-source won t substantially change the company s revenues.Whether Nest s adoption of an open source approach allows it to snag some of the hotly contested smart home market from Echo remains to be seen. But there are concerns that it may turn out to be just another pivot in a long line of Google IoT initiatives and protocols, like the abandoned [email protected] project, that ends up leaving its smart home strategy seem even murkier than before.
