AT&T TV vs. AT&T TV Now vs. HBO Max and more: AT&T streaming services explained

The telecommunications giant, which owns everything from DirecTV to the Warner Bros. film studio, has seven different streaming solutions either on the market or on their way.

In July 2019, AT announced a new service called AT TV, which will stream live television over the internet.

In addition to live television programming, the AT TV device gives you access to over 55,000 on-demand titles, smart home controls, a cloud-based DVR with 500 hours of storage, a Google Assistant-enabled remote, and will also roll in a few on-demand streaming apps like Netflix and Pandora.

In addition to the dedicated streaming device, AT TV will be available on mobile apps so you can watch on the go, although subscribers will be limited to three simultaneous streams.

It’s unclear if any of AT TV’s programming will be restricted over the app.

AT TV Now offers six packages that contain between 40 and 125 channels, and cost between $50 and $135 a month.
