Platforms for ride sharing or carpooling doesn’t take a lot of money but they do take a lot of perseverance.

Big businesses (who started sometime back) got a taste of biases and prejudices against carpooling early while parleying with corporates and tech parks to hold awareness campaigns on their premises.

When every person waits for somebody else to try it first, the platform is deemed to win if they promise on-demand, inexpensive and safe ride, getting gelled up with less pollution and traffic congestion.
