UMKM - The ratio of the number of entrepreneurs to population in Indonesia is low compared to some countries in Southeast Asia.

The ratio is only 3.1 percent, much lower than Singapore by percent.

One of the factors the low number of entrepreneurs in Indonesia due to the lack of individuals skilled is very high.

Citing a report released by the research agency SMERU, only 0.5 per 100 individuals aged 15 years who have the skills is very high.

Other countries have better results, such as the United States of 6.5 per 100 individuals, Thailand 9.4 and South Korea of 18.2.

This is because the education curriculum to focus only on technical skills, such as reading, memorizing, and arithmetic, but have not accustom the individual to think critically, analytically, and solve problems.
