Now, both the parties have agreed to settle the dispute and have finally decided that the place will be given to Hindus for the construction of Ram Mandir.

Apart from the decision that the place would be allotted to Hindus, the settlement seeks to implement other instructions regarding the repair of all worship places that existed before August 15, 1947.
The settlement also orders the construction authorities to build a mosque at a different location.
Not Everyone is Satisfied with the Verdict
Though the problem has been resolved by the mediation panel, and both parties have agreed to a settlement, there are some of the stakeholders are not happy with the decision.
It should be remembered that the history of Ram Janmabhoomi movement is that of rising national consciousness.
But the Ram Mandir issue has shown to the world that when it comes to the core issues of national identity, India thinks alike and its emotion is one and strong.
The demand for building a temple for Lord Rama in Ayodhya has emerged from every nook and corner of the country.
Even an article from the so-called liberal stable which painted the movement as divisive couldn’t stop from mentioning that “almost 200,000 villages sent bricks, 300,000 pujas of the Ram Shilas were performed and altogether about 100 million people attended the various processions that carried the bricks to and from Ayodhya.”
In fact, it is a Tamil Nadu born advocate K Parasaran who has played an important role in the Ayodhya verdict.
