Sichuan Airlines Cargo launches weekly-twice freighter service via Mumbai

December 9, 2019: Sichuan Airlines Cargo launched a weekly-twice (Friday and Sunday) freighter service to Mumbai by landing its inaugural aircraft Airbus 330-200F at Mumbai International Airport (MIAL) on Sunday.

The launch came after the commencing of the freighter service to Delhi last week and the airline also has its plans to fly to Chennai soon.

The inaugural freighter came with 50 tonnes of import cargo from Xian, the capital of Shaanxi Province in China.

The airline is routed the cargo service as Xian-Mumbai-Nantong.

Nantong is a city in Jiangsu province of China that sits in the northern bank of the Yangtze River.

Headquartered at Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport in Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan province in China, Sichuan Airlines could serve as a gateway to South East Asia, North Asia, Europe, Oceania and US.
