What Is CrossFit?

Crossfit is a training method thatProstate 911 Reviewcomes from the States and is used by police academies, military units, martial artists, professional athletes and people love to train really hard all around the world.

If you've done any of my Metcon1 workouts and survived, you should be OK with CrossFit. It's becoming extremely popular and you will find more and more health clubs offering this type of training program in the very near future. In fact, I know of a few here in the UK, such as Nuffield and David Lloyd, that have started to implement some of the training gear usually found in a CrossFit facility (they call them "Boxes").

The downside to CrossFit is that it can be double or even triple a regular gym membership. I know, ouch! Luckily, it's also possible to set up your own home gym and perform your own Crossfit training system (or my Metcon1 workouts!). All you need is a bit of space and some dumbbells or kettlebells.

A CrossFit training program is designed to be a broad program which can be individualised. However, most of the time they individually tailor they're programs and they get a fair bit of stick from non-CrossFitters because of this. I don't really see it as a problem, as people follow my workouts online, magazines workouts and DVD's. The key is to make sure you're not completely out of your depth and if your new to exercise start off s-l-o-w-l-y.
