Acting CEO Zuks Ramasia has resigned from South African Airways (SAA). She opted for early retirement and will serve till April 14, 2020. She will lead as the head of the Board of Airline Representatives of South Africa (BARSA), from April 17.
The board will make an announcement in due course on an interim successor during the business rescue process. In December last year, South African government decided to place SAA under a local form of bankruptcy protection as a last measure to prevent its total collapse.

Korean Air, flag carrier of South Korea, has finalised $6.3 billion deal with Boeing, for 20 787 Dreamliner airplanes, including 10 each of the 787-10 and 787-9 models.
