I still think that the above two ways are weird and quite unhealthy for anyone who wants to lose weight. As you are going to find out, there are many other ways you can lose weight without affecting your healthy negatively. In fact, these methods will have a positive impact on your health. So here we go:

As research has found out that 3 out of every four people are dehydrated, it also revealed that a similar amount of people are overweight. I think there is a correlation here. It could be that most overweight people do not consume the required amount of water per day, that is 8- 10 glasses in a day. Water helps in the metabolic activity of the body helping it to get rid of waste materials and excess fat stored in the body. When your body lacks water, it is unable to burn the calories hence you cannot lose weight. Therefore, drink lots of water for your weight loss, its healthy too as it cleanses the body.

Your body needs a balanced diet in order to function properly. If you fail to give it the right nutrients, it will not respond. If you want to lose weight and you are not eating right, chances are its going to fail completely. Eat healthy food combinations several times a day and in small amounts. Many of the times, we think that eating less means we lose more in terms of weight. The reverse is true! When we eat less, we are tempting our bodies to store the fats for energy during the deprivation period. So make sure you eat thought out the day so that all the fat is used up.
