So, you might get stuck somewhere in between which might only get solved by going for a higher storage variant.
In addition to the storage, the all-new Oculus Quest 2 would have a 50% higher resolution than its predecessor. The textures and applications of the Oculus Quest 2 will be larger in size. This indirectly means the new Oculus Quest 2 would require 20-30% more storage than the original Quest due to larger file sizes. So, the 256GB variant would be an excellent choice for those who want a significant amount of storage. The Oculus Quest 2 is loaded with a Qualcomm XR2 processor which offers a robust performance similar to the fastest smartphones that are available in the market.
But, currently, the 256GB model is not in stock as it sold out within a day, it got announced. This seems a great win for Oculus; however, we would say that the company has definitely failed to estimate the initial demand of the all-new Oculus Quest 2. We expect that the company would consider this in its next unit sale, and would put a more significant order this time.
