How to insulate a wall from the bathroom

There are house stays that must be carefully planned and maintained to be places with a healthy and ecologically efficient environment. The bathroom and the kitchen are examples of these places that we must attend to so that they are the comfortable places we want.

Usually the bathroom is the space of the house that tends to lose more heat or energy during the day, causing our electricity bill to rise. It is clear that the greatest heat loss comes from having to ventilate the space to decrease the excess moisture caused when using the shower. That's why most are looking for efficient solutions to ventilate this space such as installing fans or a small window.

Many experts do not consider the installation of a window as the best alternative since when we open them we also lose energy when heat transfer occurs to or from the external environment.

Imagine how unpleasant it is to leave the window open in winter so that the bathroom wall panels is ventilated and therefore have to shower in cold. Of course we could correct this with a good heating system but then the problem will be the bulging energy consumption that we will have to cancel.

Then we have to resort to other solutions if what we want is to thermally isolate the bathroom creating an efficient barrier against cold and heat, maximizing the use of energy.

There are several tricks to achieve good bathroom insulation, such as the use of polyurethane plates, adhesive pavement, use of heated towel rail, use of insulating material on the walls such as glass wool and finally the use of mechanical fans.

The vast majority of construction specialists attribute the greatest loss of energy through the bathroom walls so to make the use of energy more efficient recommend isolating these.
