How Fishing Rod Decay Applied

Many of the custom rod construction choices are about tailoring the output elements of the rod, but that doesn't mean the rod can't look good doing it. All it really takes is a well-placed decal to turn a regular finished rod's appearance into a real custom rod constructed just correct. There are fishing decals for sale available online.

Trim Excess Material from the Edges of Decal. You will enhance the look of your rod decals by merely reducing the volume of excess material around the decal in order. While you might assume that this additional space around the decal helps to focus it, as opposed to one that has been cut down to suit the important picture or message from the decal, it would likely only bring more of a headache in the process.

For example, a message decal often involves a lot of empty space around the words, and while employing the decal, this can be cut try to prevent some common problems. Right off the bat, it is obvious that during the application, bigger decals are bulkier. Big decals are not always avoidable but can be trimmed down to look and run easier on the water, more difficult to deal with and require more epoxy to add. Although it is tougher to apply a decal with more surface space, it often takes more epoxy supplies to install. Sure, this epoxy gap is fractional, but it will easily add up and eat away from your supply inventory over 3-4 rod builds.
