When I was growing up, I remember being highly hypnotised on a regular basis by the adverts on TV (as I am sure a lot of kids were and still are?). I repeatedly heard the messages that a certain chocolate bar would “… help me work, rest and play”, or “… was enough to give your kids a treat…”. or the one that is “…full of Eastern promise” …and the list could go on.
