All New 2022 Mitsubishi Outlander SUV: First Look

There are a lot of people who adore Mitsubishi for its versatility, and we should not even start about its global rally sports market. All the models of Mitsubishi Outlander since 2002 have always been groundbreaking just like the 2022 one now, but this model is somehow special as it is the result of Mitsubishi’s handshake with Nissan which made everyone believe that this alliance was not a mistake. This car has the virtue to rule the SUV crossover market.

Many people argue about it being a copy of Nissan Rogue, which is indeed a heavy argument considering both the cars were co-developed and the designs and physical overview is somewhat similar, which is enough for a layman to jump to conclusions. But the engineers and experts have clarified that both the cars are very different.

If you are looking for the deals on various SUVs, there are several dealers in the market such as ORANGE COAST NISSAN, Millennium Hyundai where you can find the details of the latest cars.

Top Features of Outlander 2022:

A third row is not being offered in Nissan Rogue but it is available in Mitsubishi Outlander First Drive which is one of the many differences in their design let alone their different tuning and material used.

Mitsubishi has never missed a chance to show pride in their culture, yet another time they have done it as the Outlanders are said to be developed based on the Japanese “I Fu Do Do” concept which means authentic and majestic.

2022 Outlander First Drive has turned out to be a reliable crossover that provides a premium look, style, and feel along with high standards of safety and performance. If we talk particularly about this 2022 Outlander, it is particularly made to target the North American market, because this is the first step for Mitsubishi to achieve global growth.

Physical Overview:
A flat roof that ends with a rear spoiler gives the car a much sporty edge, and rest needs for that are fulfilled by the jet-shaped shark fin at the rear top end of the car.

This Outlander looks way different than the 2020 model, both on front and rear. The front grill is massive with comparatively minor lamps but the design makes the whole thing look larger than it is. The only thing that is different on the rear end is the taillights, which are looking way better now with the logo on the same level as the lights.

We would have counted the rims too but they depend upon which model you choose. So, everything else that we did not include here is pretty much the same.

Interiors and Technical features:
The 2022 Mitsubishi Outlander First Drive draws power from a 2.5 Litre four-barrel engine, which delivers a whopping 182 horsepower and 181 lb-ft of torque to all four wheels separately. Advanced driver assistance systems have been pulled from Nissan by Mitsubishi.

These are called MI-Pilot assist which provides cruise control, advanced ABS, lane assists, automatic road sign detectors. The safety and comfort features are the best about these compact SUVs but the different modes in the car do not seem very efficient according to our testers.

How’s the Drive?
The new Mitsubishi Outlander has been replaced with excellent quality , soft material from hard plastic. Outlander 2022 provides such an improved and smooth drive on the road. It is a 3-row SUV in which the first two rows provide best comfortable seats. On the other hand, the third row is best for kids. But it is not recommended to travel with more than 5 people for longer drives.

Conclusion:
It is observed in the 2022 Mitsubishi Outlander, the fuel economy isn’t great. But it is better than the model it replaced which is its 2020 edition. The re-designed model is more roomy, comfortable, large, spacious, and has excellent performance. There are several legit reasons for being at the top of the list of best cars of 2021.
