Approximately $2 million, are still available in the federal funds for the people in Jacksonville who need support with their mortgage payments because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Through this program, homeowners can get help with up to $7,500 or 6 months of mortgage payments, whichever is less. The payments are directly made to the mortgage company.
One must be the owner and the occupant of the home to be eligible for this program.
Furthermore, the federal guidelines also require the incomes of the families and individuals to be less than 80% of the median income of that particular area:

Applicants will also have to provide relevant proof of the missed mortgage payments and a W-9 form which is to be provided by the lender.
The grant will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis to the eligible applicants.
Applicants need to create a MyJax account by visiting MyJax.custhelp.com and submit an application through the account to participate in the program.
