Education and qualification of the accountant

Accountants should have the following skills:

  • Accuracy, patience, and communication skills
  • High affinity for dealing with numbers
  • Knowledge of the creation of business evaluations
  • Safe handling of the booking software
  • Knowledge of the legal framework of accounting (eg wage tax law)

Employees who have successfully completed commercial training are usually sought for the position. In addition, appropriate practical experience in finance and accounting should be available. For certain areas of accounting, special training is also required.
