UPJEE BED (Uttar Pradesh Joint Entrance Examination for B Ed) is the qualifying exam for admission in B Ed in Uttar Pradesh UP. Counselling Process
Admission in B Ed will happen after they declare the results & via counselling. Candidates have to register online using registration number & date of birth. They will hold the first phase of counselling for admission in B Ed for candidates with a rank from 1 to 50000.

Application Process of UPJEE B Ed
The authorities released the application forms for UPJEE B Ed entrance exam from February to April. All desirous candidates must fill the application form through the official site. We give the complete process of filling up the application form for UPJEE B Ed below –
- Please visit the official website for UPJEE B Ed. This year the exam is being conducted by Lucknow University.
- The new candidates will have to register on the portal using the email, contact, and a password which the candidates will use further to log in to the portal.
- After they complete the registration, the students will have to log in and click on the link to apply online.
- The candidates will have to fill the application form using all the important details such as name, father’s name, educational qualification & address.
- The candidates will need to upload scanned photographs and signatures after filling the form.
- Further, the candidates need to pay an application fee through the payment portal using credit/debit/net banking.
- After completion of the application fee payment, we advise the candidates to download and store the application form for future reference.

Course fees
The course fee for admission in B Ed in Uttar Pradesh depends on the type & ranking of the college. However, the average course fee ranges from INR 40,000 to 2.05 Lakhs.
Eligibility Criteria for UPJEE B Ed
Please follow the below mentioned eligibility guidelines for UPJEE B Ed-
- The candidate must have passed a degree in graduation from Science, Social Science or Humanities stream from a recognized university/institute with a minimum score of 50%.
- All candidates who have pursued a degree in Engineering or B. Tech in any specialization must have gained a minimum of 55% (45% for the reserved candidates) in the qualifying exam.
- The candidates appearing in the final exam can also apply for UPJEE B Ed.
- The aspirant should have attained 14 years of age at the time of applying. There is no upper age limit for seeking admission.
Examination Process
UPJEE B Ed Syllabus comprises –
- GK, English, Hindi and Aptitude, (Section 1)
- Selected Subjects, Commerce (Section 2)
There are 2 portions of 50 MCQs each.
Total number of questions is 200 to be finished in 3 hours.
Exam Pattern
Authorities will conduct the exam on the same day & it comprises of two papers. Both the papers will have 100 questions each. Every question answered correctly earns 2 marks. The exam pattern for UPJEE B Ed differs from each paper, as mentioned below.
- Span of the exam will be 3 hours.
- They will give every correct answer an addition of 2 marks.
- There is a negative marking of 1/3 for each wrong choice.
