Green mobility unites 6 logistics, mobility firms to launching traineeships

Lufthansa Cargo along with five other logistics and tech companies like time:matters, DB Schenker, Daimler Truck, The Lufthansa Innovation Hubs (LIH) and Berlin-based tech company ONOMOTION took another step towards a sustainable future by partnering with each other to create a traineeship programme called the Green Mobility Trainee (GMT) project.

As part of the programme, all participating companies are slated to submit projects linked to sustainability efforts that they are currently working on and LIH is expected to collect these projects and assign them to trainees who can then participate in them for six months. The total project is expected to run for 24 months, whereby the Green Mobility Trainees will have a chance to collaborate with a maximum of 4 different companies over the course of their traineeship. Trainees are expected to be scouted through a rigorous selection process in December via a series of ‘Selection Days’, after which five trainees will be selected for the programme.
