Synthetic fibers are man-made fibers created through chemical synthesis, rather than natural human fibers obtained directly from living tissues

Synthetic fibers are man-made fibers created through chemical synthesis, rather than natural human fibers obtained directly from living tissues, such as plant or animal fur from animals. Fibers can be manufactured synthetically and their manufacturing is an important industrial process. Several manufacturers use synthetic fibers in clothes, textiles, and many other industries. Fibers are also used in the construction of artificial bodies.

Synthetic fibers are different from natural fibers since they are made by man-made processes and do not contain any protein, carbohydrates, or minerals. They are therefore different from natural proteins and can thus cause allergic reactions, including hypersensitivity reactions. Moreover, they cannot withstand harsh weather conditions and are more difficult to clean than natural fibers. In addition, as they are artificial, these fibers can be more slippery than natural human hairs.
