We're excited to introduce the new 2022 Kia Niro Plug-in Hybrid and showcase how it offers a combination of power, efficiency, and convenience.
Kia Motors Global will introduce its first 48V diesel mild-hybrid powertrain in the second half of 2018.
The new powertrain, called EcoDynamics+, reduces CO2 emissions by supplementing acceleration with electric power from an additional 48V battery and extending combustion engine off time using a new mild-hybrid starter-generator unit.
By electronically controlling the mild-hybrid starter-generator using the inverter, the system switches between two modes - Motor and Generator.
In Generator mode, the system harvests kinetic energy from the vehicle during in-gear deceleration and braking and uses the power to recharge the batteries.
Kia claims that the compact nature of the EcoDynamics+ means the technology can be integrated into existing vehicle and powertrain architectures without impacting practicality or packaging.
The system is paired with Kia’s Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) active emissions control technology, reducing CO2 emissions by up to 4 per cent on WLTP.
As a result, the aviation sector is rapidly embracing hybrid electric jets or aircraft to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions in order to improve traffic flow management.
Furthermore, the hybrid-electric jet allows for configuration and operating flexibility.Hybrid electric jets are the newest high-tech aeronautical engineering craze.
However, owing to the lack of a sound business strategy, many potential investors are hesitant to participate in these pricey and difficult ventures.
However, as interest in hybrid-electric jets rises, the market's future looks better.
High-end devices are now expected to generate massive amounts of data.At take-off, a hybrid electric jet typically releases up to 800 KW of thermal energy, which equals almost half of the power needs of most aircraft.
They will also cut fuel consumption and noise pollution by letting airplanes to use electrical power for nearly all passenger activities, allowing more of the jet's fuel to be used for other uses.
