The Renault Kiger Price Makes Dreams Come True

My son Srinivas loves long drives. Ever since he was a child, his face would light up whenever I took the family somewhere in our car, and that delight has become a passion now that he’s in his late twenties. He goes off with his friends on almost every alternate weekend and tells me about it afterwards.

My financial condition wasn’t that strong when Srinivas was young, so he grew up with a sense of frugality. This sense of managing things in budget has stayed with him since then. Hence, when he turned 25 and started earning, the car he bought was a second-hand hatchback. But in the last few years, my business was doing well, so I decided to surprise him with a new car. And the Renault Kiger price made it possible.

I knew he was a car enthusiast and knew all the latest and best cars. So I told him I was planning to buy a new car and asked for his recommendation. He immediately said the best option was the Renault Kiger. The very next day, we went for a test drive.

Even before I got into the car, I was impressed with Srinivas’s choice. Kiger had the muscular design of an SUV, 205 mm ground clearance, 40.64 diamond-cut alloys and the radiant red dual tone brilliantly accentuated the design. Almost as if he was selling the car himself, Srinivas eagerly pointed out the tri-octa LED headlights with LED DRLs and the C-shaped signature LED tail lamps. I wondered how high the Renault Kiger price would be as we started the test drive but didn’t say anything yet.

I pretended that I wanted to test the experience of a passenger and told my son to drive. He loves music, and as soon as we started, he connected my phone to the 20.32 cm display link floating touchscreen with wireless smartphone replication. The 3D sound from the ARKAMYS music system sounded fantastic.

I knew Srinivas and his friends carried various equipment like barbecue grill sets on their road trips, so I asked him about the storage space. He immediately pointed out the 29L cabin storage and also the 405L cargo space. He also emphasized the 222-mm knee room and 1431-mm elbow width for the comfort of the rear passengers. Clearly, Srinivas had spent quite a lot of thought on it himself before recommending it to me!

The Renault Kiger came in three transmissions, manual, easy-R AMT, and X-tronic CVT, which comes with multi-sense drive modes.

‘For you, Appa, the easy-R variant is the best,’ he told me and demonstrated how easy it was to use the rotary command on the center console.

Finally, I expressed my concern that with so many features, the Renault Kiger price would be too high. The Renault representative who accompanied us told me that the price started from just Rs 5.64 lakh* (ex-showroom, Delhi), which was a pleasant surprise.

Like me, Srinivas is also careful about mileage. He told me that the Renault Kiger gives a perfect balance between performance and efficiency, with the new Kiger HR10 petrol engine providing 20.53 km/L. As for safety, the representative assured us that the Renault Kiger came with 4 airbags, ABS and EBD, as well as rear view camera.

After the drive was over, I agreed the Renault Kiger price was an amazing deal. Then I turned to my son and said, ‘So, Srini, which colour would you like?’

His jaw dropped in disbelief. I smiled and told him that I had been planning this for a while, and he deserved it more than anyone else. The happiness on his face that day will always be a treasured memory for me.
