SKUCET is an entrance examination that SKU (Sri Krishnadevaraya University) runs for admission to various programs at affiliated colleges of SKU. It is a state level examination that offers a variety of courses in M.A, MSc, M.Com, MED, MSW, M.LIBSC. The SKUCET is an offline exam conducted once a year. Students wishing to apply for the exam are required to apply online, except for those seeking admissions in English or Telugu. SKUCET requires a minimum score of 25%. SC / ST students, on the other hand, do not have such a cut-off mark. The SKUCET consists of three sections, sections A, B, and C (A & B), each divided into 30 questions, while section C consists of 40 questions.

Eligibility criteria:

  • SKU offers 5% of seats to students from other states who qualify for admission through KUCET, which is a state level examination (AP).
  • NRIs who have a student visa while studying at SKU are eligible to attend the university without having to undergo an entrance examination.
  • A student must have scored at least 40% in their qualifying examination in order to be considered for admission based on their degree.
  • In order to be admitted to SKU, SC/ST students must reach a minimum score. Students from all other types of backgrounds must achieve a minimum score.
  • A PG Degree holder may apply for courses outside of their area of study.
  • SKU is home to a large number of local students, with a relatively few non-local students. Approximately 85% of seats are reserved for local students and only 15% for non-local students.
