Children and adults alike can use somatropin to treat growth hormone deficiency

Somatropin is a recombinant human growth hormone that is used to treat growth hormone deficiency in both children and adults, as well as Turner syndrome, Prader-Willi syndrome, Chronic Renal Insufficiency (chronic kidney disease), and other conditions. Somatropin promotes linear growth (height), tissue growth, and the metabolism of lipids, proteins, carbohydrates, and minerals.

Human growth hormone, also known as somatotropin, is a peptide hormone secreted by the pituitary gland that regulates cell growth, regeneration and repair, reproduction, and metabolism, all of which contribute to full human growth. Growth hormone levels in the human body should be adequate for normal development and can be influenced by factors such as exercise, sleep, stress, and low glucose levels. Human growth hormones also aid in the regulation of body composition, muscle growth and bone growth, body fluids, sugar and fat metabolism, and injury recovery. It also aids in the improvement of muscle strength and performance.
