Would you still choose Yeti Bottle Holder over Michelob Coolie if spending over $40 is not even going to matter ?
Well, I had this opportunity to ponder when I chance upon the beer holder insulator by Michelob. This 2-pack Beer Coolie Insulator Sleeve Holder Huggie looks really nice. And it comes with 1 sleeve holder insulator for beer bottle and another sleeve for beer cans.
Researching the consumer reviews show that these koozie do keep the beer or beverage cold for a longer time (but not nearly as good as the Yeti). The major complaint is the poor made quality of the sleeves. Many found that it tears easily after many use, being made of neoprene material.
Compared with the Yeti Rambler Colster that holds standard 12oz bottles or cans, the Yeti holder is made of solid stainless steel that promises "No Sweating". Its consumer endorsed coolant insulator techonology sweetens the deal that your beer can be kept cold for a very long time (as if it had just left the fridge).
Now with more than $40 in my wallet to spend, the question is what would have been my decision. It is really easy... Go for the the more affordable Coolie... No !
While the coolie costs only $19.99, its tear prone quality means I will easily spend on the next replacement pretty quick. The Yeti is way more sturdy lasting and money worth ultimately.
