BCCI has decided the 5 venues for the practices of players of the IPL-15. Indian team won 6 out of 8 series

The Indian team has played a total of 8 Test series against Sri Lanka on home soil and has won 6 series, while 2 series ended with a draw. India played the first home series against Sri Lanka in 1983.

However, on home soil, the Indian team has been able to clean sweep the series against Sri Lanka only once. In 1994, The Indian Team defeated the Sri Lankan team by 3-0 in the three-match Test series. Looking at the last three home series, the Indian team has dominated and has won. India played three matches in the last Test series with Sri Lanka in 2018 and won 10 of them.

Rohit and Virat are in the top 10

In the Test rankings of batsmen, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli are at seventh place, Australian batsman Marnus Labu Shane is on the top and Joe Root of England is at second place.

Test Rankings: Ashwin at No 2

Indian spinner Ravichandran Ashwin is the top Indian in the latest ICC Test bowlers' rankings with second place while Jasprit Bumrah, the vice-captain of the Test team and fast bowler, is at the tenth position. The list is dominated by Australian pacer Patcummins and he tops the list. South African pacer Kagiso Rabada has gained 3 points to move to third place.

Ashwin can leave Kapil behind

430 Test wickets Total Ashwin has taken so far. Kapil Dev is in second place with 434 wickets, and with 619 wickets Anil Kumble remains on top. Legendary spinner Ravichandran Ashwin can break the record of legendary bowler Kapil Dev to become India's second most successful bowler in Mohali Test.

IPL 15: BCCI gave instructions to all 10 teams

As per the reports, players will start practice at five venues from March 14th For the fifteenth edition of the IPL. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has instructed all the 10 teams playing in the league to practice from March 14. For this, BCCI has identified 5 venues. Venues need to be organized from March 26. Players will start arriving for practice from March 8.

Audience entry: The BCCI also said, "In the first half of the tournament, 25 percent of the spectators will be given stadium entry. A decision will be taken later on increasing the number of spectators in the second hand."

Teams will practice here

The BCCI has identified Mumbai Cricket Association's (MCA) Bandra Kurla Complex, MCA Stadium in Thane, Dr. DY Patil University Ground, Football Ground along with CCI (Cricket Club of India), and Reliance Corporate Park Ground in Ghansoli as practice venues.

3 to 5-day quarantine

Maharashtra government held a meeting with BCCI and MCA and made a plan for the smooth conduct of IPL. As per the government, players participating in IPL will have to stay in Quarantine for 3 to 5 days. According to a report, players and support staff participating in the lease will have to undergo RT PCR test 48 hours before reaching Mumbai.

Bio Bubble in Mumbai Pune: 10 hotels in Mumbai and two hotels in Pune have been converted into bio bubbles. Player officials and support staff will all have to follow protocols of the bio bubbles.
